Demi Moore started a boom in 1991 when tabloids, magazines and news papers all over the United States were publishing photos of her being pregnant. After that "maternity photography" became widely knows and also very popular in the USA. In 2009 we saw our own local celebrity Martina Aitolehti posing for cameras in same kind of photos. Unfortunately it didn't start same kind of boom here in Finland. Maternity photos are still quite rare here, which is really shame. Pregnancy is a beautiful miracle of life and should be celebrated. Sensible and delicate photos are great memory for the mother and whole family.
