Kaksi hääkuvaani palkittiin The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association -järjestön vuoden 2013 ensimmäisen neljänneksen kilpailussa. - - -

Two of my photos were awarded in the The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association's quarter one competition.

9th Place: Ceremony.  Judges Comment: Very memorable and surreal setting. Strong use of color and composition.

9th Place: Portrait of Bride AND Groom Alone. Judges Comment: The placement of the couple above the snow bank is a really nice touch. Strong graphic appeal.

The Artistic Guild of the Wedding Photojournalist Association proudly recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of Harri Rauhanummi. Hääkuvani ovat saaneet nyt tunnustusta myös WPJA:n puolella. Sijotuin 19. sijalle "luova potretti sulhasesta" -sarjassa. Olen oikein tyytyväinen ottaen huomioon, että kisaan osallistuu tuhansia kuvia ja kuvaajia ympäri maailmaa. Palkittu kuva oli Annen & Jussin syyshäistä Oulussa. He olivat varanneet minulta dokumentaarisen hääkuvauksen alkaen aamun valmisteluista ja jatkuen aina kimpun heittoon saakka. My wedding photos are now given recognition in WPJA contests as well. I was placed in 19th position in "creative portrait of groom" -category. I am very happy considering that there were thousands of photos and photographers participating in that competition. The awarded photo was from Anne's & Jussi's autumn wedding in Oulu. They had booked the complete coverage documentary wedding photography package staring from the morning preparations until the bucket toss. You can find more photos from that wedding here.
